President Tinubu, Macron, And Ruto Converge In Nairobi For Landmark ‘Africa Forward’ Summit
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Nairobi early Monday for the Africa Forward Summit, focusing on driving economic transformation and sustainable growth . His participation underscores Nigeria's commitment to advancing African unity and fostering strategic partnerships.
The presidential aircraft landed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at approximately 12:18 a.m. local time, marking a critical diplomatic mission. This visit is part of a three-nation tour aimed at promoting Nigeria's economic reform agenda.
Upon arrival, President Tinubu was officially received by a high-level delegation, including Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi. The welcome party included senior Kenyan government officials and members of Nigeria's diplomatic mission.
Co-hosted by Kenyan President William Ruto and French President Emmanuel Macron, the summit will focus on strengthening Africa's economic future through trade and infrastructure, reports. Discussions will center on energy transition, climate resilience, and investment partnerships.

The delegation also includes Mrs. Omotenioye Majekodunmi , the Director-General of the National Council on Climate Change; Ambassador Ayodele Oke , Nigeria’s Ambassador to France; and Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye , the Minister of State-designate for Foreign Affairs .
