WEEP NOT ABA RESIDENT

By NBF News

For the past two to three years, Aba residents have been writhing with catalogue of deplorable roads. Although the state goverment have been claiming that about 33 roads in Aba have been reconstructed since gorvernor T A Orji took over the mantle of leadership in Abia State, likewise in his new year message in January this year, Chief T A orji included East street as one of the roads he reconstructed, what still remain a puzzle to me is the location of those 33 roads in Aba.

Presently in Aba, almost all the roads are unmotorable, some have turned to blind alleys. For example, East street by St Anthony hospital is completely impassable. Other roads in that nature are: Obohia, Ehere ,cemetry, Ngwa, Ohanku, Eziukwu and many others.

In fact the dismal condition of roads in Enyimba city, coupled with the

incessant kidnapping of the innocent citizens, which has grounded to a halt all

activities, both social and commercial, is giving the inhabitants much concern.

However, with the triumphant entry into the mainstream of Nigeria politics, PDP

by governor T A Orji, I strongly believe there would be a drastic change by next year, 2011.

I therefore call on all Abians, especially Aba residents to give him a second chance by voting for him massively in the 2011 general election.

Surely, Abians and Aba residents in particular would have cause to smile in no distant time.
