Dokpesi Released On Bail

San Francisco, Oct 04, (THEWILL) - The Director General of the Ibrahim Babangida Presidential Campaign Organization, High Chief Raymond Aleogho Dokpesi has been released on bail THEWILL has gathered from the IBB campaign. He was said to have been released late on Monday night.

Chief Dokpesi was arrested on Monday morning following his alleged involvement in the Independence Day bomb blasts in Abuja.

A source told THEWILL that the politician made useful statements to security agencies adding that his cell phone records obtained by authorities provided useful data to agencies.

The State Security Service, SSS has not issued a formal statement on why the campaign director was arrested. It is not clear whether the government will charge Dokpesi to court.
