Dr. Ramatu Tijani Aliyu, CON is a distinguished Nigerian politician, born on June 12, 1970, in Wuse, Abuja, who served as Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) from August 21, 2019, to May 29, 2023.

She was born to Alhaji Mamman Sidi Ali, the Bawan Allah of Lokoja in Kogi State. She began her educational journey at Dawaki Primary School in Suleja and later attended Federal Government College (FGC) in Minna, Niger State. She furthered her studies at Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning.

Dr. Aliyu's academic achievements continued with a Master's degree in Public Administration from Nasarawa State University in Keffi. Her contributions and dedication earned her an honorary doctorate degree in Public Administration from the Commonwealth University, London.
