AIDE ALLEGES PLAN TO BLACKMAIL YUGUDA

The Bauchi State Government has alleged plans to blackmail Governor Isa Yuguda for accepting to serve as President Goodluck Jonathan's presidential campaign coordinator in the North-East zone.

Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Alhaji Sanusi Muhammed, stated this in a statement in Bauchi on Thursday.

'The Yuguda administration has uncovered a blackmail plan by opponents to destabilise it on the pages of some selected Abuja-based newspapers in order to achieve their selfish desires.

'Part of the plan is to ridicule the person of Governor Yuguda and members of his family as well as the serialisation of several offending feature articles, fictitious petitions, bogus financial claims and news stories.'
