TOPIC: AVOINDING FINANCIAL CROOKEDNESS
SCRIPTURE: There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. JOB 1:1.
It has been established that God does not withhold good things from those who walk uprightly.
(Psalm 84:11). This means, uprightness is key to accessing divine blessings. In the same way, crookedness hinders a person from accessing divine blessings.
Now, one area of uprightness which is key to accessing divine packages for you is financial uprightness. God looks at your financial records of uprightness before committing tangible wealth of the Kingdom to you.
Concerning Job, the Bible says:
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
Job 1:1.
Many of us need to change the way we do business with people so God can entrust us with massive resources.
Financial stewardship is a major key for financial blessing as far as the kingdom is concerned. If you are not trusted in little things, no one will trust you with bigger things. Many of us have missed big business opportunities because we could not be trusted financially.
When people entrust us with little money we lose all credibility and return back without any form of accountability. This is very bad.
If some people are given the privilege by God to be a stewards or a minister in the house of God, they would sell thier conscience and mortgage thier future by making merchandise of the people of God. Everyone would be under a mandate to pay certain amount before they can be prayed for.
Every now and then they force the people to be under straneous financial burden. This is evil.
My counsel to you is, make up your mind today that this year and next year, your financial dealings shall be straight. Every transaction you would have with people shall be straight; every business you shall do would be straight; and you would see how God would overwhelm you with financial blessing.
Refuse to fall into the temptation of financial crookedness.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You straighten my financial records.
Help me to remain financially upright, in Jesus' Name.
