Match Recap: Poland Vs Croatia Draw
National Stadium Warsaw hosted Group "A" national league game between Poland and Croatia. The game ended in a draw after a tough head-to-head between the teams.
A game which could have earned either of the team three points got them share one point each. After a serious tussle, the game recorded the total of six goals from both teams while they prevented each other from a clear victory.
Croatia had hope of victory when they submitted their opponent to a marginal first half victory. In the first half, Croatia already produced three goals to lead Poland who triggered the first goal of the game. P. Zieliński scored the first goal of the match to give Poland 5minutes first half lead.
The table turned around when B. Sosa 19', P. Sučić 24' and M. Baturina 26' individually scored a goal to give Croatia 3-1 lead. But, towards the dying minutes of the first half, N. Zalewski in 45' minutes netted the second goal for Poland.
Second half was another fierce fight as Poland equalized against Croatia. In 68 minutes, S. Szymanski scored a goal when it was most needed. Croatia lost a player to red card - D. Livaković evacuated the pitch after he was awarded red in 75 minutes. The match continued until 90 minutes and no new goal was recorded and it ended in 3-3 draw.
