'WE'LL TACKLE DEARTH OF SCIENCE TEACHERS IN IGS'

Ilaje Grammar School Atijere Old Student Association has pledged to assist in addressing the dearth of science teachers in the school.

This was contained in a release signed by one of the executive members of the association, Mr. Aiyenuro Felix, after the IGSAOSA delegation visited the school on Wednesday.

The old boys noted that the shortage of science teachers in the school was an issue of concern to the association, adding that the members would collaborate with Ondo State Ministry of Education to recruit the right teaching personnel to fill the vacuum.

He said, 'We (old boys) will partner with the management of IGS to improve the observed infrastructure decay in the school in order to make the learning environment more conducive.'

Responding, the IGS Principal, Mr. Ade Malumi, expressed appreciation for the visit and the plans by the old boys to give the school a facelift and help it in getting capable hands for the science department.
