Sunday Omobolanle, a.k.a. Pappy Luwe, recently escaped death by the whiskers when his Nissan Sedax sports car was involved in a multiple crash during a trip.

We learnt that Aluwe was on his way to Osun State to attend a programme on OSRC when the incident occurred.

It was learnt that the star actor was driving towards Osun State on the Ibadan-Ife road when two tyres came off a trailer coming behind Aluwe's vehicle. The rolling tyres caused a major accident which left several people injured.

It was revealed that the star actor escaped without any major injury and was on his feet immediately after the accident, helping the injured. He later reported the accident to the police at Lalupon.

Our investigations revealed that trouble, however, started later when Omobolanle got back home in Lagos and complained of dizziness and unease.

He was said to have been taken to the Federal Medical Centre, Ebute Metta, Lagos where series of medical checks were conducted.

The doctors discovered that though he had not been physically injured, there were complications resulting from the accident.

When we visited him in the hospital, the actor, who is yet to gain his full strength, said “thank God I am alive, I never thought it would get to this. I am getting better.”

His wife, Peju Ogunmola Omobolanle, who was by his hospital bed, was full of praises to God.
