If Entertainment Cafe's finding is anything to go by, the multi-talented musician, Olanrewaju Fasasi a.k.a. Sound Sultan, who will be launching his third album next month, has been experiencing a tough time sourcing for sponsorship.

Entertainment Cafe's finding revealed that the Pan African Mobile Telecommunication Company, Celtel Nigeria, turned down his proposal when he approached them.

A reliable source disclosed that the Jagbajantis crooner had made several calls to the communication outfit's office in Lagos, just to win their heart over his proposal for financial support for his album launch which is slated for 7 July, but the company was said not to be forthcoming.

The musician sought another means to woo the company last Thursday, when he stormed a mini-studio in FESTAC Town to record a one-minute jingle for the company, free of charge.

Our source further disclosed that the jingle, which may not have been recorded with Celtel's approval, was done alongside an Abuja-based upcoming female musician called Vian.

The source added that “Sound Sultan intends to present the jingle to Celtel, in order to make them see reason why his album launch should be supported financially.”

Already, Sound City, Nigezie and other companies have signified support for the event, which holds at an Events Centre on Victoria Island.
