Abdul-Azeez Gafasa said the Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation, Honourable Muhammad Idris Ayiye, presented the report before the House, explaining that, 98 per cent of the amount would be generated internally and is within the approved 2010 budget.

According to him, Honourable Ayiye recommended that the sum of N393, 140,343 being the only money outside the budget be approved as contra entries to Dala Building Society and Muhammad Abdullahi Wase Specialist Hospital amounting to N342, 950,343 and N50, 190,000 respectively.

The Bill was titled: "Amendment rather than Supplementary’’ due to the fact that only two per cent of the amount is externally sourced within the approved budget.
