Kwara Governor Hails Abdul Samad Rabiu Initiative (ASR) For Construction Of 3000-Seater Amphitheatre In Unilorin
Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has commended the Abdul Samad Rabiu Initiative, Africa Fund for Social Development and Renewal (ASR) for ongoing construction of 3000-seater amphitheatre at the University of Ilorin.
The governor who took to his official X handle, also announced that the foundation-laying ceremony of the N2.5bn oncology centre donated by ASR-Africa to the Kwara State Government would be done next week.
Governor Abdulrazaq described ASR- africa, BUA Group, and Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu’s Corporate Social Responsibility as huge gestures to the state which clearly set him apart as a great supporter of human capital development in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
Earlier, the management of Unilorin, in a tweet on its official page, extended gratitude to the ASR, saying: “Big shoutout to @AsRafrica for their incredible support in the ongoing construction of a state-of-the-art 3000-seater amphitheatre worth One Billion Naira for our university! Your commitment to education and community development is truly inspiring.”
Quoting the tweet, the Kwara State Governor said; “I join the @unilorinNGR to commend @AsRafrica for its huge support for the construction of the ongoing 3000-seater amphitheatre valued at N1bn at the university. This is typical of the @BUAGroup conglomerate founded and led by my brother, Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu.
“I am excited to also announce that the foundation-laying ceremony of the N2.5bn oncology centre that @AsRafrica donated to
@followkwsg will be done next week.
