Nollywood has ceased to be the dumping ground for low quality films as movie producers and actors have improved and are now producing world class standard movies.

This tendency was reiterated on Sunday, August 8, as one of Africa's leading producers, Emem Isong, invited top shots within and outside the movie industry to the premiering of Bursting out and Holding hope.

The event which took place at the Silverbird Galleria was graced by dignitaries and the paparazzi jostled to take quality shots. Majid Michel, Omoni Oboli, Stephanie Okereke, Nadia Buari, Genevieve Nnaji and many others were there to support their colleagues, Emem Isong, Uche Jombo and Desmond Elliot.

Local and international TV crews including Reuters and Studio 53 Extra were on hand to cover the event! After doing the rounds on the red carpet, guests were then ushered upstairs to watch the movies.

People could not conceal their love for another block buster movie as the first hall quickly filled up and another hall had to be commandeered to accommodate the teeming crowd! Even that was not enough as many guests had to make do with sitting on the aisle and standing at the back of the hall. Cocktails and small chops were served for interested guests.

Then at about 7pm the screening started and many were engulfed in the hillarious chick flick that was Bursting out. Immediately after, the screening of Holding hope began. It was a heart wrenching, tear-jerker that left many tearful. After a great night of undeniable fun, guests eventually left the venue of the event with goodies.
