Support Jonathan For A Better Nigeria – FCT Minister

ABUJA, August 08, (THEWILL) - The North-East geo-political zone of the country have been urged to support President Goodluck Jonathan to take Nigeria to the next level.

FCT Minister, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed made this call weekend in Gombe, while addressing a rally organized by politicians from the zone to ask Jonathan to contest the 2011 presidential election.

The Minister said that the government of President Jonathan is a continuation of 2007 Yar’Adua/Goodluck ticket and should be supported to carry on the good work.

Senator Mohammed described the administration of President Jonathan as divine and enjoined people of the zone to accept and support the will of the Almighty.

The Minister warned that anybody who goes against the will of the Almighty is doing that at his/her own peril because God has a purpose for putting him there.

He remarked that the people of the zone have more to gain because they have been strongly representation at the Federal level.

Also speaking at the occasion, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Bayero Nafada asked the people of the zone to mobilize and support President Goodluck Jonathan because he has performed creditably well since assumption of office as the Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
