Governor Abiodun Speaks On Dissolving His Cabinet 

The Ogun State Government has debunked report making the rounds on some social media platforms, claiming that the state governor, Dapo Abiodun, has dissolved the State Executive Council.

It was learnt also that one online news medium (not The Nigerian Voice) had reported that the governor has dissolved his cabinet.

Meanwhile, in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Kunle Somorin, he described the report as not only untrue, but misleading.

Somorin said Governor Abiodun, having won his reelection, has continued to perform his functions as governor by working with members of his cabinet.

Affirming that the state exco is still intact as the governor has not directly or indirectly announced any dissolution. The governor's media aide also urged the people to disregard the report, which according to him is the figment of the imagination of the writer of the story.
