Femi Fani-Kayode Attacks Arise TV Reporter During APC Media Briefing

It was unexpected moment at All Progressive Congress-Presidential Campaign Council media conference yesterday as former Minister of Aviation, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, unleashed verbal attack on Arise TV journalist.

Mr Fani-Kayode who doubles as spokesperson of the campaign council launched the verbal attack on the reporter for daring to ask a question at a “shouting match-like live news conference” held in Lagos State.

The APC Chieftain labelled the journalist as ‘very rude’ for legitimately asking a question.

“You can’t tell us how to answer questions… No… o ma laya o (you are so audacious). You are very rude,” he exclaimed.

Recall that this attack is not the first time incident by Fani-Kayode. In 2020, Fani-Kayode also attacked a journalist working with Daily Trust newspaper for asking about the source of funding for his recent tours.

In the old video, Fani-Kayode described the journalist as ‘very stupid’ for asking such a question.

Similarly, there are controversies trailing the outcome of the 2023 Presidential election as opposition parties have called for the cancellation of the poll for lacking transparency and accountability.
