Mysterious Fire Outbreak Guts Kano Police Headquarters

A mysterious fire outbreak has reportedly razed the Bompai headquarters of Kano State Police Command.

While the official cause of the fire remained unknown as the time of this report, some security sources blamed the incident on electrical fault.

Some of the security officers also decried the nonchalant attitude of the operatives of the Fire Service who did not arrive on time to save the situation.

According to reports, the inferno razed sensitive offices at the building occupying the office of the Commissioner of Police, but the police boss’office was not touched, though the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Admin), the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) office, Finance Office, among other top officers’office were touched by the fire.

No casualty was recorded as at the time of filling this report, though it was learnt that sensitive files were burnt during the inferno.

The police authorities at the Command are yet to release official statement on the incident.
