The Philippines Rejects The Un’s Radical Leftist Agenda

The Asian country of the Philippines last year November showed the world that despite their material poverty, they are extremely rich in values with their cultural heritage still being largely intact.

They roundly rejected the pro-divorce, pro-abortion and pro-same-sex marriage agenda of the United Nations through the United Nations Human Rights Council.

As reported by Lifesite News, “Culturally, our values may conflict with many of the values that they (Western countries) want to impose upon us,” Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla said recently, as reported by The Manila Times. “We are not ready for that, culturally we are not ready for that. That is our position right now.”

However, Remulla said the country may be open to passing the socially liberal agenda. “Actually, I think we are the only country together with the Vatican that still does not recognize divorce. We just do not recognize it because the premises of that has not been laid out properly. We want the legislature to do their job,” the Times reported.

The announcement came after a “periodic review” of the country’s “human rights.”

“These are the usual countries that always pick on the Philippines. These are the rich countries from Europe that are very, very high on individual rights and have no notion of community rights. But I think we did very well,” Remulla said.

For boldly standing up to the bullies at the UN who seem to have lost all sense of decency and direction in their woke misinterpretation of human rights, The Philippines is our brand of the week.
