ONI COMMISERATES WITH BAUCHI GOVERNOR OVER EMIR’S DEATH

Ekiti State Governor, Engr. Segun Oni has condoled with the Governor of Bauchi State, Malam Isa Yuguda on the demise of the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Suleiman Adamu urging the governor, Bauchi Emirate Council and the entire people of the State to take solace in Allah, the giver and taker of life.

In a release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Wale Ojo-Lanre, Governor Oni, who described the Emir's death as a monumental loss to the entire nation, said the people of Bauchi should be comforted that he (Alhaji Adamu) an exemplary life both as a public servant and as a monarch.

The governor, who described the late Emir as one of the foremost traditional rulers and a great leader of Nigeria who contributed immensely to the socio-political development of the country, prayed Allah to grant the repose of the deceased monarch Aljanat-Fridaoz and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

His words; “though the death of a peace-loving monarch like Alhaji Adamu can be devastating but the people of Bauchi should be condoled by the fact that the Emir lived a fulfilled and exemplary life both as a public servant and throughout his 27 years on the throne.

“On behalf of my family, Government and people of Ekiti State, I express our heartfelt condolence for the loss of such a peace-loving monarch and wish my brother, Governor Isa Yuguda, the Bauchi Emirate Council and the entire people of the State the continued support and guidance of the Almighty Allah.”
