US Based Good Governance Group Congratulates Prof. Oparaoji on his appointment as Chairman Nigeria Labour Party US Chapter

Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria, October 21, 2022: The Nigerian- American Coalition for Justice and Democracy (NACJD) , an American based non-governmental organization has joined friends and well wishers to heartily congratulate their founding chairman, Prof. Eddie Oparaoji on his well-deserved appointment as the chairman of the Labour Party Nigeria, US Chapter 7-Man Caretaker Committee.

In a statement issued by the Vice Chairman Barr Helen Mbakwe and Secretary of the organization Chijike Ndukwu, which was made available to newsmen in Owerri today (Saturday), expressed it’s joy over the appointment of it’s foremost chairman to head such an important caretaker committee of Labour Party in United States of America.

“In the choice of Prof. Eddie Oparaoji – a technocrat, good governance advocate, and administrator par excellence, the Labour Party Nigeria and the incoming Peter Obi/Datti Ahmed presidency will have a respected and potent ally in the United States” It maintained that through the Labour Party Nigeria, a New Nigeria continues to be a reality every day. This appointment, in our opinion, shall open doors for a stronger relationship between Nigeria and the United States.

Speaking further, the Nigerian-American Coalition for Justice and Democracy thanked the leadership of Labour Party in Nigeria and the Labour Party Nigeria Diaspora Committee for a compelling choice they made in choosing Prof. Oparaoji and his committee members.

Research and Good Governance advocacy non-profit organization in the United States that lobbies the US Government, Congress, and the policy-making community to influence US policies on Nigeria thereby called on Nigerians in the United States, especially those who support the Labour Party Nigeria, to rally and support the newly appointed chairman and it’s committee members to ensure victory for Peter Obi/Datti Ahmed presidential ticket ahead of the forthcoming general election.
