Katsina Lawmaker, Dr Ibrahim Aminu Kurami Dies In Saudi Arabia

A Katsina State lawmaker, Dr Ibrahim Aminu Kurami, has died in Saudi Arabia while on religious pilgrimage. He died around 2am (Nigerian time) in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, after a brief illness.

The lawmaker was representing Bakori LGA in Katsina State House of Assembly before his death. Dr Kurami traveled to Saudi Arabia for lesser hajj, according to family sources.

He is survived by two wives, 11 children and three grandchildren. The deceased was elected into Katsina State House of Assembly in a by-election conducted on October 31, 2020, following the death of his predecessor, Abdurrazak Ismail Tsiga.
