2023: Obasanjo's Former Aide, Akin Osuntokun, Defects To Labour Party

A former aide to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Akin Osuntokun, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the Labour Party, LP.

According to a statement made on Obidient TV, Akin Osuntokun has been appointed as the South West leader of the party.

Osuntokun who is from Ekiti State and a former managing director of the News Agency of Nigeria, was described as a political scientist and researcher with experience in media advocacy & policy research.

Political analysts had said he has little on-field political experience.

Before now, Osuntokun his first link to Labour Party known on Sunday, during a Channels TV programme.
