Egolum Family, Social Group Celebrates At Child Dedication

It was a joyous mood as Mr. Onyebuchi Egolum and entire family hosted friends and well wishers to their child dedication celebrations at the family home located at the popular Arroma junction axis area of the state capital. The dedication had held at the St. Joseph the worker Catholic Church, Awka.

In his welcome address, the proud father expressed his excitement for the baby. He described children as a gift from God and a blessing to rejoice. He also thanked everyone for honouring the invitation and prayed that joyful celebrations will everly continue in their lives.

On that note, a social group, De Mayors Social Club, which graced the occasion added glamour as they danced and sprayed naira notes on the celebrants. A guest by name Amaka(surname withheld) who spoke at the event, shared her experience. She applauded the group for their immense support to their member who is the father to the baby. In her words, such love and harmony is rare considering the economic situation of the country.

In addition, the chairman of the De Mayors Club thanked God Almighty for the gift of a child making reference to Scripture. He prayed that the provision of resources to care for the family will be readily available. He went ahead to encourage fathers to train and build a good future for their children and generations to come.

The highlights of the event include praises, singing, dancing among other forms of creative entertainment.
