The leading PDP gubernatorial aspirant and Chairman of House of Representatives Committee on Reformatory Institutions, Hon Anayo Edwin (Anatex), has received spiritual support from Ezza Ezekuna chapter of Ebonyi State Ministers' Forum, and matrilineal support from the Mmahi Ede dynasty of Okposi Okwu in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. These supports came when he separately hosted Ebonyi Ministers' Forum and a delegation from the Mmahi Ede dynasty in his Ekka Echemama Country Home on Easter Monday, 18th April, 2022 in continuation of the 2022 Easter celebration.

The ministers of God who turned up in their numbers were led by their chapter president, Pastor Charles Orogwu of Living Faith Church, Amaokpor Nsokara, Ezza South LGA, Ebonyi State. The men of God prayed for the success of Anatex gubernatorial project and charged Hon. Edwin whom they described as an embodiment of God's grace to continue to rely on God in his project, vouching that God has never disappointed anybody and will not disappoint him.

In the same vein, the Mmahi Ede dynasty of Okposi Okwu in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State has given their blessings and support to the 2023 gubernatorial aspiration of their grandson (Nwada), Hon. Anayo Edwin. This was made known on Monday, 18th April, 2022 when an all-encompassing delegation of the Mmahi Ede dynasty who sired Anayo Edwin's mother paid an Easter visit to the Ebonyi 2023 PDP gubernatorial hopeful, Anayo Edwin, in his Ekka Echemama home. In a speech, the leader of the delegation and Lagos-based business mogul, Chief David Mmahi, said that they came to: felicitate with their grandson during the Easter holidays; formally lend their support to his gubernatorial project; and give him matrilineal blessings to equip him for the gubernatorial contest.

The Mmahi Ede dynasty concluded the visit with a prayer, invoking matrilineal blessings on Hon. Anayo Edwin, and donated a giant cow and other campaign items to their grand child.
