The archetypal corporate communications guru and the youngest Nigerian to climb to the summit of his career is commemorating a new year in his life.

As a young prodigy, he has left visible and indelible marks in every occupational environment he had ventured into; brand strategist, digital marketer, content creator, crisis manager, salesperson, corporate communications expert, event organizer, web designer, business manager and entrepreneur.

Today, he is an authority, a sort-after and talked about in the fields he have had stints in.

In celebrating , O’tega Ogra who has done well for himself, we must realise that success does not come by accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what one is doing or learning to do. It is what has booked him a place in Corporate communications industry in Nigeria and beyond.

In his natural unassuming posture as a youthful, amiable and workaholic individual, he once said: “I enjoy taking on impossible, beat-your-head-against-the-wall challenges. I’m always looking for a new problem to solve…..”

Remarkable in his intimidating profile is that he became a Manager in Guaranty Trust Bank in his early 20s, an unrivalled feat to date in Nigeria. His stints in a German Agency for International Development and Head of Corporate Communications at Wema Bank plc are all testaments to his career exploits.

O’tega Ogra is currently, the Group Head/GM, Brands & Corporate Communications at BUA Group where he navigates the charting and driving the corporate communications and brand management strategy for the Group and its subsidiaries with responsibilities including Internal Comunications, Brand Strategy & Advertising; Product Marketing & Marketing Communications; Media and Public Relations; Events & Sponsorship; and Corporate Social Responsibilty & Sustainability.
