Buhari to Receive Nigerien President, Bazoum Today

President Muhammadu Buhari will be hosting President Mohammed Bazoum of Niger today on a State Visit in the State House, Abuja.

Garba Shehu, the President's Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, made this known in a statement he signed on Wednesday, titled ‘President Buhari hosts Bazoum, his Nigerien counterpart in Abuja Thursday.’

Shehu said, the two leaders are expected to deliberate on joining hands in tackling challenges of security and strategic stability affecting the sub-region and the globe.

“While President Bazoum’s visit is expected to last for a few hours, the neighboring leader will be received with full military honours, including a 21-Gun Salute,” Shehu added.
