Anayo Edwin Receives 2023 PDP Guber Forms From Ebonyi Elders, Leaders of Thought And Support Groups.

History was made today, 24th March, 2023 as the divine donation for the Greater Ebonyi Project and the Chairman of House of Representatives Committee on Reformatory Institutions, Hon. Anayo Edwin, received his PDP expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2023 Ebonyi State Governorship contest from representatives of Ebonyi elders, leaders of thought and support groups drawn from the 13 LGAs across Ebonyi State. In their separate remarks at the presentation of the forms to the 2023 Ebonyi State governorship hopeful by the elders, leaders of thought and support groups, Chief Onyiba Bassey Chima from Ebonyi South; Engr. Ernest Ede from Ebonyi Central; and Mr. James Ede from Ebonyi North were unanimous in extolling the investments of Hon. Anayo Edwin into humanity as a private citizen; and his track records in the seven years he has been serving in the National Assembly as the representative of Ezza North/Ishielu Federal Constituency. The three spokespersons agreed that "The gesture of buying the 2023 Ebonyi Guber expression of interest and nomination forms by Ebonyi people for Hon. Anayo Edwin was a demonstration of the yearning of Ebonyi people to have him lead them as their governor". They said that Ebonyi people, having watched the performances of Anayo Edwin for the seven years he has been in power; and after studying Anayo Edwin's Ebonyi Economic Development Masterplan "are convinced that Anayo Edwin understands Ebonyi people and their challenges as a people; and has all it takes to reinvent Ebonyi State and bring it back on the track of the vision of Ebonyi founding fathers".

Receiving the forms, the federal lawmaker expressed joy over the gift and assured that, "By the grace of almighty God and given the pristine support of Ebonyi people which they have been demonstrating since I declared my intention to rescue Ebonyi State from poverty and derailment, I believe that the 2023 governorship project which is premised on Ebonyi people's common good will succeed. Rest assured that I will neither forget nor take for granted Ebonyi people's practical demostration of goodwill to me". Highlights of the well-attended occasion were prayers and goodwill messages from professional groups, town union representatives and support groups.

This development symbolizes a marked difference between Anayo Edwin's Ebonyi 2023 governorship project and other guber projects: The difference is that while other aspirants either buy their forms or receive forms from strangers, Anayo Edwin's forms came as gifts from Ebonyi elders, leaders of thought and stakeholders who constitute the fulcrum of Ebonyi electorate. The meaning of this is that Anayo Edwin stands out from the crowd of governorship aspirants as a popularly demanded political brand while his 2023 Guber project is taking the shape of a divine democratic revolution by Ebonyi people.
