The first commercial flight has just landed at Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, Umeri. The flight operated by Air Peace flew 50 passengers from Lagos to Anambra State.

Air Peace Embraer ERJ, a 50-passanger capacity propeller aircraft operated the smooth flight into Anambra airport.

Another flight is expected from Abuja. The Anambra Cargo and Commercial airport Umueri is a legacy project of His Excellency, Gov. Willie Obiano (Akpokuedike)
