Biafra Nations League, BNL, has urged it's members in the South East and South South to disassociate themselves from Nigeria Independence celebration on Friday. In a statement jointly signed by the National Leader of BNL, Princewill Chimezie Richards, Deputy Leader, Ebuta Akor Takon and Chief of General Staff, Linus Asuquo Essien, the BNL described Nigeria as a dead country waiting for burial. They also urged the people of the region to do away with the Nigerian flags and stay at home to avoid hoodlums attacking them in the name of Biafra.

Meanwhile, BNL said it has ordered it's Militias in Bakassi Peninsula to retake the Isaac Boro camp, formerly occupied by Nigerian Military in the Peninsula. They hinted that after hundreds of python snakes invaded the Military camp to chase the Cameroon solders away, it has been abandoned for more than five years.

The group has also given oil firms three weeks deadline to stop paying taxes to Cameroon and Nigerian governments According to them, the 60% that Nigeria enjoys will be cut off by shutting down the oil companies on their failure to comply.
