Soludo Will Be Better Than Me - Obiano

By APGA Media Team

The talking points from the Flag-off of the APGA gubernatorial campaign at Ekwueme Square today are many and topical, but the most striking of all was Gov Obiano's humble submission that the APGA flag bearer, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, would do better than he did.

Such submissions are hard to come by in Nigeria's political space. It speaks volumes of Gov Obiano's sincere desire and APGA's commitment to continue the progressive trend in Anambra State.

Having completed over 150 roads, three iconic flyovers in Awka, the State capital, 18 bridges across the State, including the longest bridge in the southeast-the Aguleri uno-Aguleri otu bridge, an International Convention Centre, the Awka Township Stadium and a groundbreaking International Cargo and Passenger Airport among many other projects, Gov Obiano has every reason to brag about his achievements. But he chose to acknowledge the capacity and capabilities of his would-be successor as being greater.

Soludo on his part proved to ndị Anambra that he is truly their own. His manifesto which he described as a plan by the people and for the people, portrayed a burning desire to build a greater ANAMBRA where the people will:

- live happily
- learn happily
- work happily
- invest happily and
- enjoy happily.
Anambra is truly blessed. The transition from Obiano to Soludo promises a consolidation that will continually project Anambra as the Light of the Nation.
