Munificent Beacon of Despair

By Anthony Chuka Konwea, PhD, PE

As you read this today, Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari has probably arrived in New York for the UN General Assembly, where truth be told, no one takes or should take him seriously.

No one at all besides his Talibanic hangers-on who have turned Nigeria into a gold mine of unrepayable foreign debt accumulation and squandering.

However, those Talibanic sycophants surrounding him will do well to show him the cattle grazing routes from Boston and New York in the Northeast to Tampa and Orlando in the Southeast. Or those from Seattle in the Northwest to San Francisco and Los Angeles in the Southwest.

Show him please how VAT collected in Liberal New York or California is spent in shoring up MAGA states in Tennessee or Alabama. Point out to him the Naval Base the US is building in Las Vegas near the Nevada desert.

Finally, when he is among Presidents from other nations, can someone show him a heavily indebted country that aims to borrow billions in US dollars to build a railway line deep inside another neighboring country.

The tragedy of Nigeria is that treacherous Judas-Presidents and Judas-Governors, who have serially betrayed the people who voted them into office, travel abroad frequently, to look but not see, listen but not hear, nod their heads like lizards, but never learn.

Outside Nigeria they pretend to be gentle, unassuming, lovers of their country. No sooner do they return to Nigeria than would they resume their savage, brutal, Talibanic activities.

Without question the medieval revanchist and retrogressively Talibanic Muhammadu Buhari Administration has plucked Nigeria off from the 21st Century and returned the country to the primeval Dark Ages.

All lovers of Nigeria who have the means, have a generational duty to speak out in condemnation of this irresponsible and archaic Administration. And to lawfully resist their Talibanic tendencies.

By the Grace of Jah Jesus Christus, the epithet for this illiterate Administration when all things are done, and dusted, in one year and eight months’ time, shall be this.

Here lies the munificent wreckage wrought in Nigeria by the Muhammadu Buhari Administration, which was a ghastly fountain of oppression, an unreformable dispenser of injustice, an inexhaustible purveyor of expansionist violence, and an unrepentant beacon of despair.

May this country never again witness a destiny destroying Administration in any way, shape or form, resembling this present one.

So, help us Jah!
