Ese Brume Earns Nigeria's First Medal In Tokyo 

Ese Brume has ended Nigeria's wait for medal at the ongoing 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

The 25-year-old won Bronze medal in the women's long jump to earn Nigeria their first medal of the Games.

Germany's Malaika Mihambo won the Gold medal in the women's long jump with her last leap of the competition.

Reese, 2012 Olympic Champion won the bronze medal with a jump of 6.84, while Ese Brume finished with a best jump of 6.97m.

Ese Brume was the only Nigerian Athlete who reached the final of her event at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, where she finished fifth.
