Biafra Nations League, BNL, has described the failure of the Federal Government to produce the IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu to court as an act of wickedness. Speaking to newsmen in Owerri, Imo State capital, the National Leader of BNL, Princewill Chimezie Richards said the long adjournment by the Court was carefully planned, adding that the presiding Judge was playing a script written by the Attorney General, Abubarka Malami. "I never expected that there will be justice from the court. It is their court and they own and pay the judges, so what Judge Binta Nyako did on Monday was simply playing out a movie script. They can't fool people like me, I know their plan is to frustrate every freedom fighter and keep extending their stay because they can't prosecute with facts".

BNL Leader also described the recent heavy Nigeria Military presence around the Bakassi Peninsula area as a plot to arrest him and other leaders of the group. He said that the government efforts to arrest them in Bakassi instead of other areas in the East was to have evidence that the group were behind some militant activities in the region. He described the efforts as waste of resources, urging President Mohammadu Buhari to deal with issues of Fulani attacks, bandits in the North before it creates another crisis in the Gulf of Guinea.
