Dr Anu Adepoju of MedContour In Court For Alleged Failed Surgery That Led to Death Of Mrs. Nneka Miriam Barbra Onwuzuligbo

For carrying out a failed cosmetic surgery, a plastic surgeon, Dr Anu Adepoju of MedContour, is to face prosecution in court.

She is being prosecuted by the Federal Competitive and Consumer Protective Commission (FCCPC), Nigeria. The commission announced via its official twitter handle on Friday: “The medical doctor is in court over allegations that a failed cosmetic surgery carried out by her led to the death of one Mrs. Nneka Miriam Barbra Onwuzuligbo.

The Controversial Lagos based cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Anuoluwapo Adepoju popularly known as Dr Anu was arrested and brought to court under criminal charges of failure to comply with FCCPC’s requirements in an investigation; appear and provide information relevant to ongoing investigation. The Prosecution was led by Babatunde Irukera, CEO,FCCPC.
