By Olawale Oyegbade, The Nigerian Voice S/W Bureau Chief

The General Manager of Osun State Ambulance Services (O'Ambulance), Dr Olusegun Babatunde has said that the report insinuating that Amotekun personnel beat him to coma was not correct and that the information did not emanate from him.

Babatunde said he did not speak with any reporter or issued a statement on the incident.

He faulted the report published on a local blog insinuating that the Amotekun men beat him to coma in his office in Osogbo, the state capital.

The controversy over attempt by the Director General of Amotekun in Osun, Chief Amitilu Shitu to take over one of the blocks of offices allocated to O'Ambulance is still ranging when the publication alleged that the personnel of Amotekun invaded the premises of O'Ambulance at Government House Annex, Oke-Fia and beat Babatunde to coma.

When contacted for his reaction, Babatunde said "I did not speak with the reporter and I do not know anything about that. I'm not in coma. I'm okay and I would not want to be dragged into that controversy".
