Arsenal Keen On Signing Julian Draxler

Arsenal have reportedly rekindled interest in luring German and PSG winger, Julian Draxler away from France.

According to a report by the French media outlet, FootMercato, the North London giant are keen on snapping up the 26-year old in the summer transfer window.

Draxler, according to the report, is valued at £36M by PSG who wish to cash in on him this summer. The German international is however subject to interests from Hertha Berlin and another Premier League club.

Recall that Arsenal showed interest in signing the former Wolfsburg winger before he joined the Parisiens in 2017.

However, three years since the transfer was completed, the player has failed to stamp his authority at Parc des Princes, never quite managing to become a regular.

Draxler has spent more time on the bench than on the field in the current season but the Gunners who are in the transitional phase are hoping to transform the club and have made Draxler a potential member of the transformation.

It has been suggested by The Sun that the £36M PSG are demanding for over the German international is not a steep valuation. Which means Arsenal could be with a chance to sign him. However, his £120,000-a-week wages appear to be a stumbling block, with the Gunners unwilling to pay him such a package.

Although, Draxler has been surplus to requirement at PSG but he's shown overtime that he can still recover his best touch if given the opportunity, the 26-year old could become a top asset for the North Lomdoners.

Arsenal also are eyeing another PSG player in Layvin Kurzawa who's set to become Arsenal's first signing of the summer, while Dani Ceballos is expected to return to Real Madrid.
