HAPPENING NOW: Journalists Battle INEC For Accreditation

Ahead of the Saturday's presidential, National Assembly (NASS) and House of Representatives elections, members of the fourth estate of the realm are currently battling the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Delta state for accreditation to cover the forthcoming general electiona.

INEC had last week opened the process of accreditation for reporters interested in covering the election to get approved letters from their various media organizations.

On Thursday 14th February 2019, newsmen throng INEC headquarters along National Television Authority (NTA), road off Okpanam road, Asaba, where our correspondent learn that only few scared through the commission's screening.
