Gov. Shettima’s Orderly dies in Maiduguri Government House When He Collapsed

The Police Inspector, Mopol, Mohammed Azare attached to Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno state as Orderly has been confirmed death after collapsing at the Government House Maiduguri few hours after returning from Abuja with the governor’s entourage Monday night.

It was gathered that the late Inspector Azare who have spent 26 years in service as Cadet Police Officer has never fell sick until this Monday at about 7:30pm when he collapsed in the presence of some of his colleagues at the first gate of the government house, before he was rushed to the Mamman Shuwa Ultra Modern General Hospital, popularly known as Nursing Home located few kilometers away from The Government House in the new GRA Maiduguri and confirmed death (Brought In Death, BID ) by Medical doctors on duty.

It will be recalled that Governor Shettima had been away from the state on official engagement for almost a week and returned together with the deceased who was sighted by the people healthy and kicking since from the Maiduguri International Airport carrying one of the hand bags of the governor before his untimely death.

However, at the time of filing this report, The Nigerian Voice was told that no official statement has been issued on the sudden death of the Police Inspector, but medical reports indicated that Mohammed Azare died as a result of cardiac arrest/heart attack.
