At The Security Emergency Response Team's Stimulation Exercise and Commissioning

The law of success is service, that is, we get what we give, and for this reason, we should be glad and consider it great privilege to be able to give. Consciousness to law is an attitude of the mind; it is the open door to the arteries of commerce and industry for effective environmental and social advancement. As the law is unchangeable and ever implementing, we get exactly what we give and enforce same in the environment without getting what is feared.
Security Emergency weaves itself into the entire fabric of our day-to-day existence; it engages the best thought of the best mind… we enlarge our circle of Friendship by Making money for all Agencies, by helping them build a reserve and by being on service with them. The constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, makes provision for implementation of service as a FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT of the citizenry and the protection of this right is our prime responsibility. The services of M-SERT provide us with the following general duties:
The prevention and detection of disaster and disaster crime relation.
The apprehension of offenders to disasters control measures.
The protection of life and responding timely to in the environment.
The preservation of law and order of Emergency.
The due enforcement of laws and regulations of Emergency with which they are directly stated.
The performance of such military Emergency duties within or without Nigeria as may be required of them by or under the authority of the National Security Emergency Act.
The preservation of persons liberty under the Security Insurance Policy of the subject.
The control and regulations of security Emergency and Community Emergency Response
The timely response to emergency/disaster information around the globe among companies, estates, tourism centers, fuel stations, seaports, airports, hotels, schools etc.
Helps in rapid response and uncover operations to upstream oil spill and relief distributions
Regulating the security insurance policy and the control of social security activities of the federation.
Keep track of information systems as regulation involve homes and hospitals for the teaching of emergency law and good conducts.
Training of emergency personnel on emergency response for employment to various energy companies and vessels
Training of community based Emergency response etc.
This knowledge of truth, combined with proper regards for it and its faithful observance, constitutes true education. The mere stuffing of the mind with knowledge of facts is not education.
The mind must only posses a knowledge of truth , but the soul must revere it, cherish it and love it as a priceless gem; and this human life must be guided and shaped by it in other to fulfill it's destiny. The mind should not only be charged with intelligence, but the soul should be filled with admiration and desire for pure intelligence which comes of knowledge of the truth. The truth only can make free to him that has it, and will continue in its preparation and make proper use of its psychosomatics. Educate yourself for the services ahead of time. Therefore, when we shall have completed the EMERGENCY TRAINING INSTITUTE (ETI), we will provide you the studies of time, as we enter upon the commencement ceremonies of the great hereafter, we will find that our work is not finished, but just began.
In conclusion, permit me to repeat a portion of the first psalm: “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the council of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of waters, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doth shall prosper”. Here lies the wisdom of those that will earnestly study the character and principles herein explained.
The important consideration of this work is how we can learn the lesions of this work and discharge our duties and obligations to God and to one another; our main purpose is to enforce and regulate, that we might conform to the image and likeness of this work without blemish, immaculate and spotless to establish the standard environmental perfection, law and order and obedience to the law.
