Sanusi Reacts To Allegation Of Squandering Kano Emirate’s N6bn

BEVERLY HILLS, April 24, (THEWILL) – The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi ll, has denied the claim in some quarters that he squandered N6bn from the coffers of the Kano Emirate Council.

Addressing a press conference at his palace on Monday, the monarch declared that he did not inherit such an amount from the late Emir, Ado Bayero.

Sanusi, who spoke through the Walin Kano, Alhaji Mahe Bashir Wali, stated that late Ado Bayero left behind only N2.9bn in the account of the emirate.
