BEVERLY HILLS, March 28, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari has forwarded to the senate for confirmation the names of two new ministerial nominees.

A News Agency of Nigeria report said a letter containing the names of the nominees from Kogi and Gombe States was received at the senate late Tuesday.

The Kogi nominee will be replacing the late James Ocholi, former minister of state for labour, while the other person from Gombe would replace Amina Mohammed, former minister for environment, who is the current United Nations deputy secretary- general.

The Agency report did not identify the nominees. THEWILL has however reached out to the president’s spokesmen on the development but is yet to receive a feed back.
