Uniform: Group Passes Vote of Confidence on Ali

By Brown Justice

Against the backdrop of the demand by few Senators that the

Controller-General of the Nigerian Customs Service, Col. Hameed Ali

should resign for not appearing before it, a frontline socio-political

organisation, the New Mandate Movement has passed vote of confidence

on the Custom boss.
The group said Col. Ali has demostrated that he has respect for the

rule of law by not jumping over the lawsuit instituted against his

appearing in the Red Chambers in Custom Uniform.
Like we have always maintained, our Senators should stop putting their

selfish interest before the entire interest of Nigerians, because this

is the only way Nigeria will be great.
Hence, we call on the few 'Sin-nators' among the Senators to allow

reason to rule over irrational emotion on this matter.

We therefore pass vote of confidence on the leadership style of Col.

Ali in Nigerian Customs.
Signed:
Mr. Brown Justice,
Convener,
New Mandate Movement.
