Oluwo lauds Aregbesola’s investment in education

A first class paramount ruler in Osun State, the Oluwo of Iwoland, HRM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu has lauded the state governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola for his huge investment in education.

The monarch gave the commendation in Osogbo, capital of Osun State during the official opening ceremony and commencement of learning in the state-of the-art schools built by Aregbesola’s administration.

Oba Akanbi tagged Aregbesola as game changer, whose investment in education has systematically rekindle the learning passion of students, adding that conducive environment and better package for the teachers of the newly commissioned schools are motivators for the aspiring students irrespective of their social status.

He cautioned those accusing Aregbesola of huge indebtedness to leave the governor and allow him to remain focus. Oluwo said Aregbesola is not frivolous and that the products of the borrowing are visible to the blind and audible to the deaf.

He said the giant of all nations; United States of America is one of the highest debtors and maintains her position as the greatest. Oluwo described Aregbesola’s borrowings in prosecuting the rot in education sector as needful for a visionary governor, urging him to continue his good work.

“I’ve travelled to more than 50 countries and visited many schools. I have never seen secondary school of standard with the one built by Aregbesola. Aregbesola is a model and proud product of Awolowo for making education a free asset for all and sundry.

“Ogbeni is the hope for the less privileged, one of those reasons I call him Gomina Mekunu, meaning government of the masses” is connected with his educational policies. He meant well but people will soon appreciate him better when the impacts are yielding”.
