WE BREED AT THEIR BAKERIES

By Adeola Ikuomola

WE BREED AT THEIR BAKERIES
The voluminous vultures
Rich as rugged rogueries
Sourcing livers in leavers
As dawn drowns at down
All heritages their wastes
All dreamers their creams
Their crumbs pure games
For our revealed divisions
We breed at their bakeries
And brew at their wineries
Dark shadows our heights
Our rays tagged rebellious
We weep without our tears
Crouching on sighing loins
We are woven within water
Also drugged with dryness
We have our labour gowns
To honour our task master
Commissioning omissions
On our bread breached lips
