The recent extension of leave by the President Muhammadu Buhari, via a

letter to the National Assembly poised a big mark, that it is not all

a bed of roses for the President Muhammadu Buhari' health.

Notwithstanding, as mortals, we are infallible to fall sick. But the

moment we tried to down play the issue by way of insinuating the fact,

that all is well and good, then something is fishy.

The President Muhammadu Buhari' media handlers and party faithfuls

has gone all ways to diffuse the tension, that all is well untill now,

that it was confirmed to the outside world, that there is a grievous

challeng on the conditions of the Health of the President Muhammadu

Buhari, that warranted him to undergone some tests in order to

ascertain what is wrong with him.
When the President Muhammadu Buhari, is going out, his media handlers

went an extra mile to tell the gullible public, that he is only going

for his annual routine vacation while at the same time, use the

vacation to do medical checkup.
This attitude exhibited by his top media handlers towards getting the

citizenry and the world to know, that the President Muhammadu Buhari,

is not well and he is jetting to london to seek proper medical

attention is really bad for the fact, that there is no need to keep

the people in complete darkness about the health status of their

President.
The dilly dally by the media handlers in suppressing the story and

news about the President's health is really undemocratic and

unpleasant to the hearing of all.
As a public figure, the health condition of the President is paramount

to each and every one of us. There is anxiety on the part of every

person in this country to know how the President is fearing with his

health.
Infact,by the turn of events now, on the part of the President

Muhammadu Buhari, in notifying the National Assembly of the extension

of his vacation proved to all and sundry, that there is a great

challeng to the health of the President. It is imperative for the

media handlers to put things in proper perspective especially in the

health condition of the President. It is through this opening, that

the people can pray for his quick recovery.
The reason, why the agent of death found it easy to spray or fabricate

all tissue of lies saying it over he website and other social network

platforms, that the President Muhammadu Buhari, is death is simply

because the media handlers has keep the people in perpetual darkness

on the heath of the President.
It is only in this country, that knowing the health status of the

President is a problem due mainly to how those incharge in

disseminating information down play anything that is concerning his

heath. It happened during the late President Umaru Yaradua.

It is necessary for the media handlers of those holding exalted

positions such as the President to always have it at the back of their

mind, that it is a disservice for one to hid behind in telling the

world what is actually happening to their leader especially President

of a great country like Nigeria.
Therefore, it is necessary for the media handlers to play their role

accordingly so that the people are abreast of the condition of their

President.
There is no need for secrecy on what is happening to the President

Muhammadu Buhari, we are living in the 20th century. People should be

told in plain, the health condition of their President. This is the

only way, that the President can have the sympathy of the people

irrespective of religion and political differences.

In advanced countries, they don't hid the health condition of their

leaders as the people are daily been brief about how the leaders(s) is

fearing whenever he is indisposed.
We need to imbibed this kind of thing in this country. Also, this

would afford us the opportunity to fervently pray for the quick

recovery of our leader, whenever he is indisposed. There is no need

not to disclose the true health position of a leader especially his

media handlers.
