On Tuesday, January 10, 2017, this news website published a story entitled: ‘Sokoto Governor, Tambuwal Loses In Supreme Court’ where it was wrongly reported that the ruling of the apex court was delivered on Tuesday, January 10, 2017.

The said date of judgment is an error on our part as the matter in question was actually decided by the Supreme Court early December, 2016 – about a month ago.
