Politicians Urged To Desist From Sharing Okada And Emulate Ifeanyi Ubah Football Club During Seasonal Campaign

As the Anambra State Governorship election approaches, politicians have been called upon to desist from buying commercial motorcycles commonly known as (Okada) for people in the guise of empowerment schemes and borrow a Leaf from Ifeanyi Ubah Football Club who has broken the Country's Record on Youth Empowerment and Distinguishing ANAMBRA state from the rest of other States in the Country thereby Making it the Envy of All.

The politicians were equally made to understand that a recent APLSCD visit to Orthopedic Hospitals has revealed that Okada has caused so many orthopaedic cases and that such political strategy which was outdated could end up producing a terrible or fatal result at the long Run which may jeopardize the interest of the politician Donors.

Director of Centre for Moral Mentorship, Aisha Maureen Edward, who stated this Thursday in Awka during an interactive session with journalists, maintained that all those parading themselves as capable of providing quality leadership for Ndi-Anambra were merely making empty promises, stressing that none could replace Governor Willie Obiano if not the Challenges posed by some mischievous hawks around him pretending to be political Aides while in the real sense those Persons have no single interest of their principal who was determine to provide good governance to the poor masses in the State.

Edward also observed that prior to elections, there were no non-governmental organisations or foundations floated by politicians to help the less privileged.

But according to her during elections those seeking political offices set up foundations purportedly intended to help alleviate the sufferings of the masses; such establishments she said become extinct immediately after the elections.The moral crusader further disclosed that some desperate politicians go to the level of taking picture with the downtrodden in the name of grassroots empowerment programmes. She vehemently condemned the act on the grounds that it is the highest level of deceit and deception known to humanity.

Edward therefore noted that Governor who has Endeared himself to the citizenry following his developmental strides since he came on board. According to her, the Governor has provided buses to alleviate transport problems in the state as well as revamped the economy for more investment opportunities.
