SAN FRANCISCO, November 24, (THEWILL) – The Peoples Democratic Party in Osun state, supported by Senator Iyiola Omisore, has announced the expulsion of the National Secretary of Alli Modu Sheriff-led faction of the party, Prof. Wale Oladipo.

The Chairman of the party in the state, Dr. Bayo Faforiji, made the announcement during a congress at the party secretariat located along Osogbo/Gbongan Road on Thursday, announcing the expulsion of Soji Adagunodo, the Chairman of another faction of the party in the State.

Faforiji also announced the expulsion of the immediate Chairman of the party, Gani Olaoluwa, as well as Secretary of Adagunodo-led executive, Bola Ajao.

He disclosed that the expelled PDP leaders were found guilty of anti-party activities in relation to the suit they filed to stop Eyitayo Jegede from becoming the governorship candidate of the party in Ondo State.

Faforiji revealed that a disciplinary committee was set up to investigate the various anti-party activities against them over a month ago, but none of them appeared before the committee to defend themselves.

He disclosed that the report of the committee indicted OlaOluwa and Oladipo for their complicity in the matters relating to Ondo PDP governorship tussle.

However, Adagunodo, in a statement made available to journalists in reaction to the series of expulsion described the announcement by Faforiji as a huge joke.
