Ugwuanyi committed to even development of Enugu State – Arc. Offor

The Chairman of the Enugu State Urban Renewal Committee, Arc. Chris Offor has reassured the people of the state of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's commitment to ensure that development are equitably distributed in the state, in line with his inaugural address.

Arc. Offor who spoke during an inspection tour of the ongoing projects in the state, disclosed that the governor will in December inaugurate some projects executed by his administration across the three senatorial districts of the state.

He said that in keeping with his inaugural address, Gov. Ugwuanyi's administration apart from the numerous ongoing development projects across the state had completed the Nike Lake road, the Abakpa Nike road and the Airport Roundabout/ Orie Emene road in Enugu East Local Government Area.

He added that the Amaeke-Ngwo-Nsude- 9TH Mile By-pass road in Udi Local Government, the Post Office Roundabout- Odenigbo Roundabout- Ogurugu-Ikenga Hotel junction road and the Obechara road Junction-Umuakashi-Mechanic Village-Ikenga Hotels junction road both in the University town of Nsukka, among others, have also been completed for inauguration next month.

The chairman noted that the projects for inauguration were spread across the three senatorial districts of the state, indicating that the present administration was committed to the principles of justice, equity and fairness.

He expressed delight at the quality of work being executed and the commitment of the contractors handling the projects, commending the governor for his insistence on quality projects and prudent management of the state's lean resources.

While appealing to communities that are yet to witness development to exercise patience, Offor reassured the people of the governor's determination to attend to their needs in spite of the current economic crisis in the country.
