THEWILL further gathered that resumption into the new academic year has been halted as the pupils who ought to have resumed on September 17 and 18 were asked to stay away until the industrial action is resolved by the federal government.

Reports indicate that the teachers Federal Government have not been paid for five months and got the approval the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN) to embark on the strike.

The issue became heightened when one of the staff died last Friday as she was unable to raise money to pay her hospital bills.
